If you can't feel this beat then you have no business being at this blog. And stop me if I'm wrong, but Badness seems to have an uncanny talent for effortlessly making any riddim his own. Cop this here, the download comes with the instrumental (which is fucking HEAVY, in case you haven't got it yet) as well as remixes from DZ, Cracks, Murlo and Numan. DZ and Numan in particular both kill this in their respective ways, as could be expected.

Yeah yeah I haven't posted shit since last year, but don't worry I plan to make up for that. If you don't know about the Bristolian dubstep sensation known as Guido then get to know. This track sounds like some RnB from the 80s but with that menacing bass griminess we all love. Big tune, cop it here.

Discovered this gem on the new mixtape from Matt Shadetek and DJ Rupture, who are the production team behind Jahdan Blakkamore (for more on that seach below). Make sure your speakers are on for this, Various has built some serious head-nod appeal right here and coupled with Pumajaw's haunting vocals, they've created a monster.

Wu Tang Meets Indie Culture Vol. 2 - ENTER THE DUBSTEP

“As Vol. 1 sought to introduce hip-hop fans in general, and specifically, the famously large, loyal and diverse fan-base of the Wu-Tang to the burgeoning world of underground hip-hop, so Vol. 2 seeks to expose another untapped resource of underground talent, skill and artistry to this very same avid and intrepid fan-base.

NEW Dot Rotten - Two Step Non Stop (video)

Some heat from one of the major dons of the grime scene. R.I.P. Young Dot proved to be one of those rare grime releases that I found worth revisiting after it's release (nothing against grime releases, there's just so many and so few of them turn out to be memorable), so keep watching for Something Out Of Nothing dropping November 2 on his own Rotten Riddims Entertainment imprint.

Foreign beggars & Noisia - Contact

First single from the forthcoming United Colours of Beggattron to be released on the 19th of this month. Production by Noisia, who are twisted trust me, just wait till it gets to the end of the track and they transorm it into some messy drum n bass.

New Grems - Dimanche EP

This is the title track from the Dimanche EP, which has just dropped as a teaser before the release of the album Broka Billy. This is produced by NT4 and Jonn 9000, you may remember NT4 as the other MC with Grems on DJ Troubl's "Guedin" (whick also features on this EP, see below to listen). DJ Troubl feat. Moona & Foreign Beggars - Who's the fool (preview + dubstep remix)

This is the title track on DJ Troubl's forthcoming EP, set for release October 15 and featuring the track with Grems and NT4 I was so enthusiastic about. troubl's myspace here, badman producer and 2-time world champ DJ.

JAHDAN BLAkKAMORE - BUZZROCK WARRIOR

New release from Brooklyn-based dancehall exponent Jahdan, featuring more than a couple overt nods toward the dubstep and grime movements. Highlights include a colab with DKTV's long-time favorite Durrty Goodz on "Mesmerized" and some monstrous gangster-dub on "The General". NEW GREMS!!! THIS IS BIG

One of the hottest, most innovative and most versatile spitters in France, Grems, and the ever-present DJ Troubl (2-time world champion, I just read), have been making very conspicuous moves toward dubstep and grime (not to mention funky house, which actally made me like funky house) ever since I've known of them. Grems is probably best knows outside of France for his collaboration with Orifice Vulgatron (Foreign Beggars), as one half of Rouge à Lèvre on the track "Gash." I'd probably have to say I'd rate him in my top 3 or 4 MCs at the moment (seriously), so the news that he'll be releasing a new album is no small deal for me. Expect frequent updates on this blog. By the way, "guedin" means crazy, which sums up this track nicely.

TERROR DANJAH, Industry Standard Part 4 - Boomkat
